It’s Summer but you wouldn’t know it! If you’ve got any time today have a crack at one of these and please those drowned rats that come home this afternoon! We’ve got 3 beef dishes and 2 lamb dishes because the wet weather suits some rib sticking goodness. First is that all-time family favourite Chill Con Carne (you can go easy for the kids and just heat yours up with some tabasco). Next – an amazing sticky lamb stew from Jamie Oliver, with barley, sausages and stout. Another stout recipe – Beef & Stout – this time with slow cooked chuck (always organic chuck from Shiralee – amazing!). Manly’s 4 Pines do an amazing Stout so see if you can get a bottle of that. Also with that tender chuck, there is a recipe for Beef Mavrou – this is a South African curry, with beautiful layering of flavours. Last but not least – dick out the tagine for a Sweet & Spicy morroccan lamb dish. Wnjoy.
